Meghahatuburu Sunset View Point, Kiriburu

Meghahatuburu Sunset View Point is one of those places where you should arrive a little before sunset and simply give yourself time. From the hilltop, the landscape opens into layer after layer of forested hills, with the vast Saranda Sal forests stretching across the horizon. As the sun begins to drop, the green landscape slowly turns golden and then orange, making the hills look almost endless. The name Meghahatuburu is associated with the idea of the “Hill of Clouds”, and on a cloudy or rainy day, mist often moves through the hills and changes the entire character of the viewpoint. Kiriburu and Meghahatuburu are also known for the surrounding “land of seven hundred hills” landscape and the majestic Sal forests of Saranda. Jharkhand Tourism specifically highlights the sunset from Meghahatuburu as one of the area's major attractions. This is not really a place where you need a long list of activities. Come for the view, walk around the hilltop, breathe in the forest air, photograph the changing sky and stay until the last light disappears.
