Bhatinda Water Falls

Bhaitnda Waterfall, also known locally as Katri Waterfall, is one of Dhanbad's more accessible nature escapes. The waterfall is set around the Katri River and rocky forest landscape of Tetengabad, giving it a very different feel from the city's busy industrial surroundings. The best part of the visit is not just standing in front of the waterfall. Come with a little time in hand, walk around the rocky surroundings, listen to the water moving through the forest and find a quiet spot to enjoy the landscape. During the monsoon and just after it, the waterfall becomes much more energetic, with the rocks and greenery making the whole setting more dramatic. In winter, it becomes a comfortable spot for a short picnic or relaxed outing with friends and family.
