Rose Island, Getalsud Dam

Rose Island is a beautiful little getaway situated in the waters of Getalsud Dam, surrounded by greenery and the wide expanse of the reservoir. Getting here is part of the fun, as you can take a boat across the water and reach the island. Once there, you can simply slow down, walk around, enjoy the peaceful surroundings, take photographs and spend some relaxed time away from the city. The island and its surroundings are particularly beautiful when the evening light falls over the water, making it a lovely spot for a picnic, a quiet outing or watching the sunset. The island is located in the Hurputoli/Datma area of Ranchi district.
